ABOUT ME
My name's Mikala Marville. I am currently a student in the BSc Architecture and Environmental Design course at the University of Westminster in London, UK.
Although I go to school in the UK, I am a Washington D.C. native and have lived surrounded by its fantastic culture, landscape, and historic architecture.
My dream as an architect is to eventually return to my grandmother's home country of Sierra Leone a build affordable, sustainable housing that benefits my people and allows them to once again stand on their own two feet. Hopefully, through diligent research, I may have a proposal for both individual homes and a community by the end of my senior year.
